I believe Vernon’s future should be built on long-term vision, fiscal discipline, and smart investment. That means maintaining core infrastructure, planning responsibly for growth, and making sure major investments are sequenced in a predictable way and deliver real value for taxpayers. We need to keep projects moving while ensuring every dollar is spent thoughtfully.

Just as important, Vernon needs leadership that understands that a healthy community is a balanced community. Our city needs investment in infrastructure, transportation, parks, recreation, culture, and the services that bring people together and support a strong quality of life. Growth should strengthen our community, not leave people behind or create unnecessary divisions.

We also need better collaboration across Greater Vernon. When regional priorities involve Vernon and GVAC, residents should not have to worry about which government table a project is sitting at. I will work collaboratively to improve communication, reduce unnecessary delays, and make sure regional investments deliver results for the people who live here.

And when Vernon needs a stronger voice at the provincial or federal level, I will advocate for our community. Whether it is funding, policy, or legislative change, Iwill make the case for what Vernon needs and will not hesitate to speak up.

This is a time for clear priorities, responsible decisions, and a steady hand.
